When iconic English designer Anya Hindmarch created a candle collection (complete with her signature streak of fun) we just knew it belonged in our Hall of Fame… Her exquisite candles are crafted from the finest raw ingredients and hand-poured in England – but it’s the scents that truly intrigued us. Inspired by a favourite childhood snack, Anya’s Lollipop candle blends notes of crushed blackcurrant leaves, geranium, juniper, green mandarin, rose, peony and musk alongside purple tongue sweets and chewed lollipop sticks to create that truly nostalgic scent. As well as the sublime scent, the heavy glass jar and chic acrylic side eye stickers will mark you out as a curator of cool.
Known for her chic accessories and signature streak of fun, iconic English designer Anya Hindmarch has extended her creative eye (and olfactory talents) to an ultra-covetable candle collection – and we’re very happy about that indeed. Her exquisite candles are crafted from the finest raw ingredients and hand-poured in England – but it’s the scents that truly intrigued us. Recreating the everyday in an extraordinary way, the candles are based around surprising – yet sublime – scents that evoke happy memories for Anya. This one is a homage to ‘Lollipops’, inspired by that childhood excitement of receiving a single wrapped lollipop at Halloween or the dentist, this beautifully scented candle blends notes of crushed blackcurrant leaves, geranium, juniper, green mandarin, rose, peony and musk alongside purple tongue sweets and chewed lollipop sticks to create that truly nostalgic scent. The BEST candle
Mine arrived today and it smells delicious! Such a cute jar and packaging, a good size too. I usually like Diptyque Baies but I don’t think I’ll be going back after this - fruity and floral at the same time. Love!!

Another Anya Win
Blackcurrant leaves and Rose' is a perfect depiction of the imagery you get when you burn this candle. The base seems to be a bed of red roses, liberally sprinkled with ripe blackcurrants fit to burst and the clean, green sap-like smell of the leaves permeating throughout. It's a well blended composition as far as candle note medleys go (but so are several of the others in the line, so that's not surprising). For anyone familiar with other candle brands, this one smells very much like Baies by Diptyque - Juicy, Green, Natural and Succulently Ripe.
