Born out of one woman's frustration, AMELIORATE's creator Annette was desperate to transform her 'chicken skin' arms. Having suffered from Keratosis Pilaris from an early age - a remarkably common condition which causes skin to appear rough, red and bumpy due to an excess production of keratin (an essential part of skin's uppermost layers) - which results in the development of little 'plugs' or goose bumps, Annette decided to take matters into her own hands. Nothing she tried had lived up to its promises, which is why she set about developing an exfoliating treatment and skin-smoothing body lotion, to gently resurface and intensively condition. Technologically advanced, AMELIORATE's Transforming Body Lotion with Green Tea has a patent-pending formulation which combines alpha-hydroxy therapy with a unique complex of natural ingredients, to enhance skin condition and support its own exfoliation processes. Starring lactic acid - a member of the AHA family - this melts the 'glue' that binds dead, follicle-clogging cells to skin's surface whilst attracting moisture from the air to 'lock it' into skin (lactic acid is a natural humectant). This 'resurfacing' effect helps to create a smoother, more-refined skin texture, while glycerine, milk protein complex and sodium lactate combine to deeply moisturise and improve elasticity - gradually eradicating lumps and bumps to leave problem areas touchably soft. In clinical trials, over 80% of Keratosis Pilaris sufferers reported an improvement in skin texture within just four weeks, while nearly 90% felt their skin was much smoother, making this a fantastic treatment lotion for all those with KP, as well as people hoping to dramatically enhance their skin's appearance.
Apply twice daily to clean skin. Continued use is recommended to maintain beneficial effects.

Better smell than the original!
Big fan of this lotion. The smell is better than the original ( I really wasn't a fan of that one). Hydrating, gently exfoliating, a necessity for summer months especially.

I like the scent of this lotion compared to the other variations, and it really gets rid of the little dots you get from waxing / shaving.Â

Love the scent
I don’t like the smell of the original but this has a lovely, subtle scent. Works wonders on KP on my arms, especially when used with the body scrub

My second tube!
I used to get a lot of ingrown hairs on my legs from epilating and this cream has made such a difference. I no longer get as many ingrown hairs and my skin has been so much better. I'm also trying this on my back when I get the odd spot so fingers crossed! The scent is also really nice and not too overpowering. Highly recommend!

Nice Product
Overall I really like this product as it sinks in well, hydrates for a long time and smells great but I find it feels a bit slimey as you apply and for a decent amount of time afterwards which stops it from being the full five stars for me.

Wonderful product
Works just as well as the original but has a much nicer scent. I love the original because it's so effective but I didn't like the smell. This one does the same job but the green tea scent is refreshing

disappointing
I bought the body lotion in this brand because the hand cream cured my suddenly dry hands. I'm sure it'll work well on the body..but the smell..not green tea, something medical I can't love.

Soft for Days
I'm a big fan of the bronzey summer version of this and of Green Tea as an ingredient for the body so I just had to with this one. I love how lightweight this lotion is, super absorbent, and the best part is honestly my limbs are silky smooth, and hydrated for the whole day and even days and nights to come! The scent, I'm not really sure it's a bit green tea I think, just the usual scent from Ameliorate but I still love it.
