Disappointing & dangerous
1I bought this in January and used it twice a week for several weeks, with no improvement. I then started using it three times a week and that’s when I started to notice issues with my skin. I suddenly developed lots of very sore, angry whiteheads as well as spots under the skin. I stopped using the product and saw a professional who advised me that my skin barrier was damaged. 16 weeks later my skin is still very red and sore and is only just recovering. I read a fair few rave reviews of this product before spending on it and I’d never normally spend this much. Sadly, it’s completely ruined my skin. If you do purchase it, proceed with caution as I wouldn’t wish my current skin situation on anyone. Even though things are opening up again after lockdown I barely go out because I have become so self-conscious. Hoping that it will improve soon, but I’ll be avoiding all Allies of Skin products for the foreseeable future.

Overnight Improvement
5I've been experiencing more breakouts recently with stress, moving back to London, and more frequent mask-wearing, and really wanted something to give me fast results without damaging my skin further. Allies of Skin works so well for my skin, I've not found a product from them that I don't love (although I can't say the same for my bank balance) and see great results within a matter of days. The first night I tried this was on a stubborn, angry and red cyst-like spot and to my shock, it was nearly flat by morning. All the pain from it had gone and it was so much less apparent, with consistent use it was honestly gone within days and the scarring was far less apparent. Yes, it's expensive, but it gives your skin everything it needs and saves quite a lot of steps that you might otherwise use! This combines AHAs, enzymes, and antibacterial colloidal silver while soothing and restoring your skin barrier to really tackle the breakouts head-on, but without stressing out your skin! Completely worth the investment if you're struggling with your skin, I cannot recommend this enough.

It's ok
3For the price and the reviews I read for the product I was expecting significant results, but have yet to see any. It's a lovely consistency and feels hydrating, but I can't say it's done anything to calm down my hormonal acne breakouts, which is why I bought it in the first place. Someone else commented to give it a good month to start working so I'll see if it improves over time - I really hope so!

Stick with it
4I bought this product as soon as I got a discount code after having struggled with a few months of unusually bad hormonal/cystic acne. For the first month, things didn’t really improve. I was determined to stick with it as it was so expensive and after 5/6 weeks, my skin really turned around. Now I get the odd spot, but it rarely turns nasty and normally disappears in a day or two. I also realised that it works best for me when used three nights in a row, taking a break every fourth night with a gentler routine.

So Amazing
5Another amazing product from Allies of Skin this mask is full of wonderful ingredients for any tired, compromised stressed skin, perfect for oily and combination skin,after using this for 4 times in a week it made a massive difference to my oily skin it reduced massively any breakouts it also got rid of some stubborn whiteheads that had been stubborn for ages, if I could give this 10 stars I would.

Amazing
5This is an amazing product. I splurged on this after having painful ‘maskne’. Although I still do get small whiteheads after using this almost daily for a couple of months I’ve noticed I’m not getting anywhere near as many bad cystic spots as I was. I definitely notice when I’ve not used it the night before. The only downside is you need to leave time for the product to sink in a bit before going to sleep. The product is pricey but I’ve stopped using a lot of other products in the evening so I think it works out about the same price as the other products put together if not slightly less.

Blemish promise keeper
5I have used 2 sample sizes of this and I've almost ran out. Honestly think it's an underrated product. I apply this at night and wake up with a promise fulfilled and thats everything! If my skin is a little raw from dermal planning or micro needling it does sting a bit but the results are the same. No pain no gain.

Miracle for hormonal acne
5I have an oily sensitive skin and have been struggling with hormonal acne for quite some time now. I am extremly pleased that I have accidentaly found this product. It really keeps every promise :) - skin feels hydrated, brightens hyperpigmentations and keeps acne under control. After trying complex routines and thousands of products, I have finally found a product that works. Definitely recommend to everybody with acne, to give it a try.

Visible difference over night
5I am a bit of a skin care junky and have tried a range of different products. This I think is one of my top 5, blemishes were reduced overnight as well as keeping the rest of my skin clear. It does have a bit of a tacky texture to begin with so if you don’t want to stick to your pillow case maybe apply it 30 minutes before bed but I really cannot rate this higher. There other mask with retinol is also great.
