Terribly drying
Literally the worst lip balm I’ve ever used. Dried lips terribly. Refunded and went back to Vaseline!Â

Lightweight and trip-friendly
This is my second Aesop lip balm tube. I’ve liked a lot that it has spf and furthermore that it is the most lightweight lip balm product that I’ve had. I compared the weight with fresh small size lip balm but those cases are made of metal and this has plastic case. The product itself is a bit sticky and hard to spread but it stays on very long and feels protective.

Great balm, but nothing extra special
I got this as I love Aesop stuff, however it’s nothing special with this one - glides on fine, moisturises slightly, has a subtle scent. Would I buy again? Probably, but only when there’s an offer on! Slightly worried for Aesop since being taken over by L’Oréal - hope they don’t ruin the brand!Â

It’s a nice chapstick but I prefer other brands. Just as natural but at a cheaper price

Quality problem
I have been buying this lip salve for some time now. Unfortunately the quality is up and down. Some of my purchases are very gritty whereas others are soft and creamy. Â The gritty ones I am sure are a production problem. The creamy ones are great - the salve stays on your lips and is waxy in texture. Perfect for daily use and also sunbathing.Â

Great apart from texture during application
Was looking for an spf balm for summer and this was the only spf chapstick I could find without a weird white cast. Feels great on and does the job well. The only negative is that it feels abrasive when you put it on. As soon as it’s on your lips though it’s fine and the texture is actually lovely and buttery but it doesn’t have that smooth texture you’re expecting when you apply it. Apart from that it did the job.Â
