Unique
This candle had the most interesting fragrance and it makes my house smell amazing, it’s subtle and doesn’t overpower but gently creates an atmosphere. I’m so glad I tried it.

Extremely disappointing
I love anise and liquorice based scents, but this one is pretty lacklustre. But the dealbreaker for me is how poorly the candle itself performed - it NEVER burned evenly and ended up with lots of bubbles and pockmarks and I ended up having to throw it out when it still had a good bit of wax left since it couldn't sustain a flame any longer. Don't waste your money.

Different
Strong fennel/aniseed smell which is not something I've come across in a scented candle before. Not at all overwhelming. I suppose if you don't like a liquorice scent you'd hate it, but I find it rather quirky and fun. Would have liked a little more oomph in fragrance as it doesn't have anything like the fragrance power of a Diptyque or Cire Trudon which really fills a room.
