Random Beauty Fact

Random Beauty Fact

Eating at night does not make you fatter.

This myth originated from a Swedish study into obese women which unearthed a pattern of serious cake scoffing after 10pm. What they failed to take into account was that there had been an awful lot of munching throughout the day as well.

The time you eat has no bearing on metabolism or how you store fat, it is the amount of calories you ingest.

I’m confused now. I was listening to “Trainer to the stars” Matt Roberts only last week on Raidio 1 and he said that you shouldnt eat after 6pm.

I usally have my dinner at 8.30, so please let what you say be true.

It is true, this is a common misconception founded originally on this Sweedish study eating after 6:30pm will not put on any more weight than eating the same thing before and lets face it who gets home from work ready to cook diner before 7!! That said in order to get a sound night’s sleep one does need to leave a decent amount of time between eating and going to bed.
