Why it's cult
The brainchild of a celebrity make-up artist in 1994, Stila's goal is to help every woman celebrate her own unique beauty - to look and feel like the best version of herself, and to have fun doing it. Directions & ingredients for Stila Cosmetics Prime Pot
Directions
Apply Prime Pots with a concealer brush or your finger. Use the brush to dust the Prime Pot on the eyelid. A little goes a long way. Use Prime Pots to smooth the eye area and cut the redness, creating the perfect canvas for makeup application. Wear this "primed" look alone or with makeup on top, either way the look will last all day. A great muted lip can be achieved by mixing Prime Pot with Convertible Color.

Doesn't budge, doesn't smudge

I have bought both colours of the Prime Pots. Caramel is quite orangey, which is fine if you are putting shadow over it. taffy is more of a skin tone, so even without a shadow, say just a liner, it evens out the lid. Most importantly, once you have put your make up over the Prime Pots, it stays put. Liner, shadow- cream or powder, do not move. A little goes a long way, and it is best to pat it on, rather than try to blend. It has quite a heavy texture, and if yu try to blend you can drag eye a bit. Excellent if you need to put your make up on in the morning, and not worry about it all day. I use it under lipstick too.
