Description
Product description
This needs little introduction. Eight hour cream constitutes one of the longest lasting trends in the fickle fashion business. This skincare classic helps to soothe, restore, soften and protect dry or mildly irritated skin. It aids in the temporary relief of chapped lips, smoothes rough spots on knees, feet and elbows and softens tough, hard cuticles and hangnails. Dermatologist, clinically and allergy tested. This is designed to work for all skin types.
Why it's cult
Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream was developed more than seventy years ago by Ms. Arden herself and was the first cosmetic product to bear the Arden name. Ms. Arden added the Eight Hour part at the suggestion of a loyal user who claimed that the product healed her son's scraped knee in eight hours. It is such a popular product that two tubes are sold every minute.

Get over the medicinal scent and it's okay

Once I'd got past the medicated smell, I grew to love this. Particularly for dry lips or for your face in very harsh conditions, like a skiing holiday, this has no real competitors for me. I do totally disagree with the fact that it's multi purpose. I read somewhere that models put it on their eyelids for a natural sheen. This just felt plain weird. I will say that the tinted and plain lipstick versions of Eight Hour Cream are amazing!!!
