Tara Smith's Base Coat Serum is a foundation primer for every hair type. This moisturising serum is made with Borage oil, which has the highest level of Gamma Linolenic acid (an essential fatty acid) of any common plant species. It is moisturising enough to tame frizzy hair and lightweight enough not to weigh down fine locks. Use after washing as armor for great-looking hair, a couple of squirts of this on towel-dried hair makes it behave better, hold styles longer, look healthier and glossier.

Tara Smith Base Coat Serum is one of those products one can't live without after the first try and once you've fallen in love with the way it makes your hair feel, you'll fall head over heals for the fact it doesn't contain Parabens, Sodium Laureth Sulphate (SLES), Glycols, Phthalates, PEGs, Artificial colouring, Synthetic fragrance OR Animal derivatives. This stuff works... every time, the list of celebrities speaks for itself and SO cheap. Need we say more?

Apply serum to damp hair to distribute evenly, then style as usual.

Tara's hair serum is perfect for all types of hair; take it from someone who knows. Keeping my afro hair tame is no mean feat but luckily Tara's serum does it for me!

Tara Smith's Base Coat Serum is my must-have hair product, especially now I've gone blonde. It leaves my hair feeling really soft and healthy, and has boosted its shine brilliantly. It's important to me to use eco-friendly products so the fact that it's been so lovingly developed and isn't tested on animals is fantastic.

38 year old's straw turns to gold!

I having been using this product for just a few days and I seriously wouldn't live without it. My scalp has desisted itching, my hair feels soft and looks shiny. I have rather dry hair which is becoming increasingly dryer due to age and having to get rid of grey and this product really has made a difference. The best part of course, is that there's no animal testing and it does not contain parabens or petro-chemicals. Awesome. Well done Tara!

Believe me, I have worked my way through possibly every serum there is: high end, high street, luxury, eco - the works. Either my purse is so poor or the performance is not as good as promised (how annoying is it when that happens?!). Tara would be my dream hair styler: the best cut & fantastc eco products by her; all wrapped up in a rock chick, laid back babe look. So I thought I'd try the serum. I only realised just HOW good this is when I went away on business and forgot to pack it in my case: oh boy! My hair is HAIR with this stuff; lovely & silky, strong & frizz free. Bunny friendly is the best & the price is just wonderful. Infact, at this price (THANK YOU Tara!) you really can afford to give it a go - you really won't be disappointed!
