Product description
Reviber Whole Body Vibrating Exercise Plate is the at-home version of the Powerplate exciting gym bunnies nationwide. It's perfect for those who want to do gentle exercise without busting a gut, because while you won't feel like you've run a marathon, you will: Tone your legs and buttocks, increase your circulation and metabolism, increase bone mineral density and core muscles, and improve posture and balance - all from the comfort of your own home, and while watching TV if you so wish!
Why it's cult
Just standing on the thing tones and makes your muscles and bones stronger! It literally makes you heavier because of the up-and-down gravitational pull, which forces the body to strengthen. Plus, the body is exercised by the thousands of vibrations stretching the muscles, to which it responds by contracting them. It has an Infra Red Reflex Zone for total body healing and is also great for toning your muscles 'down there' which is supposed to make 'you know what' even more pleasurable...

Different options for use: Standing: For maximum effect and the whole body response simply stand on the comfortable rubber topper - with or without shoes. For those with poor balance, you may wish to position the Reviber in a doorway so that your hands can provide additional support. Squat: Bend the knees and lean forward slightly to reduce the vibration travelling to the upper body - this will concentrate the effect on the buttocks and legs. Sitting: For those who find it uncomfortable standing, position the Reviber in front of your chair and place both feet on the plate. Keep your back and neck straight; for a stronger vibration push your legs harder onto the plate. Back Relaxer: Sit on the Reviber and allow your upper body to relax. This vibration should relax your back, hips and thighs. You can sit on a cushion for extra comfort. Shoulder & Neck Relaxer: Kneel down in front of the Reviber. Whilst keeping your back and neck straight you should then outstretch your arms and rest on the plate. This machine has a 5 year guarantee on the motors and 2 years on all other parts.

So much fun and you can really feel the firming!

By Elpie, Journalist, Twenties, London
I was incredibly sceptical about this... I mean it's just standing still right? But no... the vibrations really do work your muscles. And it's just really quite fun and a great stress reliever! If you like to feel your whole body buzzing. I think it has helped firm the butt cheeks, and gets the blood pumping all the way through so that feels like it's helping my very poor circulation, too. Probably best not to operate heavy machinery straight after as it does leave you feeling a tad wobbly. I would highly recommend it though, especially for people wanting to get back into exercise after illness (or laziness!) or anyone who wants to do something while watching TV!
