Product description
Pommade Divine is a 'cure-all' lip balm that smells beautifully of clove, cinnamon and nutmeg. This thick salve is perfect to ease chapped lips, cracked skin and is an excellent moisturiser that will leave your skin naturally replenished and glowing. It also works wonders on cuts, bruises, grazes, itches, stings, sunburn and rashes speeding healing and easing the tightness. A brilliant fall back plan for all skin emergencies, it lasts forever as well.
Why it's cult
A 200 year old British recipe originally formulated by The Butler and Co. Apothecary of Clerkenwell, London. Pommade Divine became one of the staple family products of the British Empire, and for good reason, this balm is a proper desert island product - also works if you live in a semi in Glasgow.

Super moisturiser

By Tanya, Lawyer, Forties, London
My Mum used this on my grazed knees as a child, so for me the smell is heavy with associations of the comfort and safety of her get better hugs! But that is not enough to make me regularly buy a product, it needs to work. Out of all the balms out there, this is the only one that really works to heel and deep moisturise my skin. I wear it on my lips when they are parched in the winter and it sorts out my slightly craggy feet. I smother them in the balm and then wear an old pair of socks to bed, which works a treat.

I was thrilled to discover that someone had bought PD and was producing it again. Just the smell brings back images from my childhood, 50 years ago. PD was used as the cure all for everything, from grazed knees to insect bites. It worked then and it works now.

I never used this before, but got the 3 10ml lipsalve sizes. I haven't tried it on injuries yet, but it's great for dry lips! I really like the spicy scent and the warming effect.
