This gentle, clarifying clay mask absorbs excess oils, extracts impurities and deep-cleanses pores without drying out your skin. It works by blotting, purifying and soothing the skin using a blend of beautiful French clays. The two active ingredients are Kanolin and Allantoin; Kanolin works by drawing impurities to the surface of the skin and soothing the surrounding area whereas the anti-inflammatory Allantoin increases skin smoothness and promotes cell regeneration.

Clay masques can be heavy and drying on the skin, but the fine French clays in Payot Masque Clarifiant find the perfect balance between cleanse and care. The lovely runny consistency and gentle formulation means that it can be used twice a week on all skin types, including dry and sensitive skin, leaving you with a clear radiant complexion. Once or twice a week, apply a thick layer all over your face, neck and décolleté, avoiding the eye contour. Leave on for 5-10 minutes; make sure you do not let the mask dry as this will soak up too many of your natural facial oils and end up drying your skin. Flannel off with lukewarm water. TOP TIP: With clay masks if you add a serum before application it not only stops the mask from being too effective, sucking up oils, the mask helps the serum's active ingredients permeate your skin better.
