Dennis is a qualified chemist with 30 years experience in industry. He holds qualifications in chemistry, metallurgy and food technology and has been involved in many aspects of chemical-related industries. He has helped set up Fairtrade projects in Africa, South America and South East Asia and has been involved in monitoring imports to Third World countries as part of work carried out for the United Nations.

In 2009, after several years spent working in the natural cosmeceuticals industry, Dennis set up his company Cosmetic Design Laboratories. Working with a worldwide client base he designs natural skin care, baby care, cosmeceuticals and slimming aids for the global market, and consults major manufacturers on the use of natural ingredients, offering help finding quality suppliers of both raw materials and packaging.

Dennis also works with companies in South America researching natural ingredients and their ethicacy. He always prefers to use Fairtrade ingredients so that indigenous communities can be helped directly from each sale. His aim is to educate people on natural beauty and change their perceptions of what natural products are. He has recently written articles for The Sunday Times and various American magazines on this subject.

Dennis is currently developing natural, silicone-free mascaras for a US-based manufacturer as well as a range of natural room sprays made from essential oils, set to launch in 2010.
