Mary Greenwell's name is synonymous with fashion make up and beauty. For more than 20 years, she has been one of the world's most sought-after Make Up Artists. She started her career while living in LA selling the exclusive make up line Il Makiage at Fiorucci. At the request of Make Up Artist and owner of Il Makiage, Ilana Harkavi, Mary's first job was making up the 14 year-old Brook Shields for photographer Scavullo in New York.

Mary later returned to London and built up her portfolio working with Paris-based photographers like Pamela Hanson. She then moved to Paris during one of the most important summers for the fashion business. That year, Christy Turlington, Stephanie Seymour, Tatiana Patitz, Linda Evangelista and Cindy Crawford - five girls who became the supermodels we know today - also came to Paris. She then started receiving bookings from major fashion editors such as Grace Coddington and Liz Tilberis of British Vogue.

Soon she was doing what every professional make up artist dreams of doing and worked for all Vogue magazines on a weekly basis. For the first collection by Italian designer Romeo Gigli, Mary created the now-classic, rosy-faced, no-makeup look.

Mary is especially well known for helping transform Princess Diana from a young, camera-shy girl into a confident, beautiful woman. She now makes up the faces of celebrity beauties such as Uma Thurman, Cate Blanchet, Gwyneth Paltrow and Kate Winslet.
