Nuit de Longchamp, a timeless perfume worn by elegant Parisiennes since 1934, uses the most precious flowers available. Evoking a magnificent garden of white flowers blooming at twilight, this powdery, floral Chypre has citrus top notes of Bergamot, Orange Blossom, Nutmeg, Cardamom & Ylang Ylang, gently fading into a soft floral scent of Turkish Rose, Jasmine, Iris, Sandalwood & Broom Absolute & settling on the subtle notes of Patchouli, Vetiver, Tolu & Peruvian Balsam & Oak Moss.
Why it's cult
Supplier to the Royal courts since 1789; Lubin is one of the most exclusive Parisian perfumers. Nuit de Longchamp was created in 1934 by perfumer Lucien Ferrero & inspired by the famous Grand Prix de Paris held at the Longchamp racetrack. This was one of the most exclusive parties of the year and attended by the international jet set. Traditionally given to society ladies who attended the gala dinner, the fragrance quickly became a huge global success particularly in the US with Mrs Eisenhower.
