Description
Product description
This unique sun cream is designed for normal skin that rarely burns and ensures a suitable protection under normal to strong sun exposure, for example European sun in summer. Esthederm has a completely original approach to protecting skin; letting through just the right amount of sun, it retrains your skin to defend itself and tan quickly. It does not use the SPF rating system, instead you choose the product by your skin type and the strength of sun from which you wish to protect yourself.
Why it's cult
Institut Esthederm Adaptasun Body Milk is an integrated sun protection system that uses a patented ingredient called Adaptasun. This trains the skin to fortify itself at a cellular level, fighting free radical damage and stimulating the production and distribution of melanin which leads to a faster, longer lasting tan. UV Incellium works as an external protector filtering the harmful, ageing UVA and UVB rays. For more information about the range click on the About Esthederm PDF in the press tab

Directions
Apply evenly all over your body, 20 minutes before exposure. Renew application every 2 hours. With every product in the ADAPTASUN range it is a good idea to start using the product on your skin for a few days before you go into the sun to give it a chance to work its magic, training your skin to react better to the sun. This will also make your tan develop faster!

don't go on holiday without this

By Fewer wrinkles than my mother, PR consultant, Sixties, Wells, Somerset
The cream smoothes on very easily and leaves a wonderful smell which I now associate with glorious hot holidays - like Ambre Solaire used to before they muddled the perfume. I've just spend two weeks in Thailand and decided not to spend hours lying in the sun getting a tan - for the first time in my life. This cream protected my skin beautifully and I am now an attractive light brown. Very good and I highly recommend it.
Best suncream in the world

By Sugar & Spice, PA, Thirties, London
I have got to the age where I can afford to buy a suncream because it is really good, rather than just because it's on offer at Boots. I heard about Institut Esthederm from the Style.com blog and am a complete convert, wow! It smells like really expensive face cream and soaks into my skin almost instantly. I could be out in the sun all day from 9am and my skin didn't burn in the slightest, it didn't even feel tender after the first day sunbathing marathon (I am super pale!). The tan took a little longer than normal to appear, but it has lasted over a month after getting back from holiday.
