Dennis is a qualified chemist with 30 years' experience in industry. He holds qualifications in chemistry, metallurgy and food technology and has been involved in many aspects of chemical-related industries. For many years he ran his own business which included helping set up Fair Trade projects in Africa, South America and South East Asia. He was involved with monitoring imports to Third World countries as well as carrying out work for the United Nations.

In 2004, Dennis joined a colour therapy company based in the UK and started to develop holistic and therapeutic products which are based on colour energies, aromatherapy oils and natural ingredients. At this point, he developed a new understanding of the benefits of chemical-free and cruelty-free products. He designed various new products before leaving and relocating to the South East of England and joining a cosmetic product design company. It was here he could help companies who wished to have chemical-free cosmetics and use organic ingredients as standard practice.

Dennis later joined Ila Spa Limited as Technical Manager to help produce and design products that have a depth of understanding for the relationship between chemicals, natural ingredients and organic ingredients - an aspect currently lacking in many other cosmetic companies.
