British make up artist Daniel Sandler has been a leader in his field for over 20 years,making wearable looks for 'real' women, showing just how easy make up can be.

Daniel claims his creativity heralds from his parents; his father was a well-known society hairdresser and his mother an interior designer. As a teenager in the 1980s, Daniel lived for trips to the artsy Kings Road and was particularly inspired by the likes of David Bowie, Steve Strange, Grace Jones and Vivienne Westwood. Daniel's break came working as an assistant at the St Martin's College degree show.

Over the years, Daniel has worked globally on a number of shoots with high-profile photographers for top publications and with designers backstage at a number of fashion shows, including Tom Ford for Gucci, Tommy Hilfiger and Jenny Packham. He continues to work with celebrities and spends at least one day a month working with customers at Urban Retreat.

Daniel has spent the last 2 years developing his eponymous range, drawing from his experience as a professional make up artist to create products that simplify make up for women of all skin tones, helping them to look and feel "a prettier version of themselves".
