Before St Tropez became a household name, founder Judy Naake had been involved with the health and beauty industry for many years, working with brands such as, Decleor, Darphin and Australian Body Care.

After witnessing the St Tropez home-tanning solution become the market leader, Judy expanded her remit with a salon equivalent, for which she has won numerous industry awards.

She subsequently launched the airport tanning booths, giving rise to the now ubiquitous 'ten minute tan'. Since then other salon treatments have been added, and several more retail products have been introduced, with resounding success.

St Tropez achieved recognition by the Sunday Times CoolBrands awards and has won various magazine awards. Celebrity devotees of the brand include: Victoria Beckham, Donna Air, Cat Deeley, Billie Piper, Hermione Norris, Duncan from Blue, and Take That. Known as 'the guru of self tanning' Judy tans celebrities herself, and frequently appears on television programmes.

Judy is well respected throughout the beauty industry. She has always been extremely popular and enjoys the opportunity to lend a helping hand to people starting out in the highly competitive beauty industry.
