Karine Jackson

Hair stylist Karine Jackson has come a long way since starting out in her parents salon in the small Australian town of Wollongong. After excelling at Charles
Worthington, she set up her own Covent Garden salon and received her first nomination for London Hairdresser of the Year in the 2007 British Hairdressing Award.

As well as her cutting skills, Karine is renowned as a brilliant colourist and holds the L’Oreal Colour Specialist Degree, putting her in the top 1% of L’Oreal colourists in the UK. After working her way up to salon manager of Charles Worthington’s flagship salon, and winning a number of awards in the process, Karine opened her own place in 2003 – two doors down from the Ivy in Litchfield Street.

Always keen to keep up with the latest product developments, Karine introduced an organic colour range to the salon in summer 2007 to give clients a more eco-friendly alternative to the usual big brands and the range has been enthusiastically received among more than 50% of clients. Karine is also a bridal hair specialist and her salon offers bespoke wedding packages.
