Ross J Barr {Acupuncturist}

Ross is the acupuncturist the pros visit when they need to decompress, known for his personal approach, warm nature and positive results. He can make your face look younger, strengthen your body's immune defences & can even help heal a broken heart. Popular with many influential players in the fashion and beauty industries, he specialises in the application of Five Element acupuncture, cosmetic acupuncture, infertility treatment and acupuncture for sports enhancement.

Ross was trained by Tatsuo Nakamura in Japanese Seitai Body Therapy, is a member of the British Acupuncture Council and a graduate of the renowned College of Integrated Chinese Medicine.

He currently practices at Wimpole Therapeutics in W1 and Urban Bliss in Notting Hill.

The passion Ross has for the technique is unique as his decision to enter the profession was driven by the heart: "I discovered Acupuncture 10 years ago when my dad passed away unexpectedly. I was persuaded to visit an Acupuncturist to deal with the shock, heartbreak and grief. I couldn't believe the difference the treatment made after just one session, I left his clinic feeling more positive and somehow knowing everything was going to be ok. I was so inspired I decided to take the plunge, give up my well-paid job, sell my flat and car and study to become an Acupuncturist. I had seen what effect the treatment had on me and knew I wanted to be able to help people by doing the same. A cliché, but I feel very lucky to get paid to do something I love very much, it is a beautiful medicine.
