Nichola Joss {Beauty Therapist}

Nichola Joss is one of the beauty industry's most revered skin care and nail experts. Her advice and work has been featured in some of the world's most prominent women's magazines such as Vogue, InStyle and Marie Claire, and Nichola is the beauty therapist of choice for A-list beauties such as Scarlett Johansson, Hilary Swank, Gisele Bündchen and Gwyneth Paltrow.

While most therapists today would have been content with a beauty diploma, Nichola went on to earn a degree in biology and physiology shortly after so that she could fully understand the holistic entirety of beauty therapy. Upon completing her studies, Nichola moved to Malaysia where she did a one-on-one apprenticeship with a local lymphatic drainage therapist. For the next few years, she trained in these specific pressure techniques, proven to aid the detoxification of the body, the regeneration of skin tissue, boost the body's immune system and have anti-ageing effects. Later, she moved to London and scored her first editorial job with top-class fashion photographer Michel Comte when he needed a manicurist at the last minute.

To date, Nichola has worked with Craig McDean, Terry Richardson and Patrick Demarchelier and backstage at fashion shows for designers Roland Mouret, Carlos Miele and Matthew Williamson. She also represents luxurious skin care brands L'Occitane and St. Tropez as a skin care and tanning expert and actively participates in their product development.
