Trained in the art of hair cutting and colouring in London, Paul Labrecque embarked on a worldwide tour as a platform artist working with celebrities and models. After years of demonstrating his techniques to hairdressers throughout Europe and North America, Paul returned to New York to start a new career as artistic director in Manhattan's finest salons. Paul followed by opening his own luxury salon and spa on Manhattan's Upper West Side in 1988, which quickly established itself as one of New York's go-to beauty hot spots.

He has been credited with introducing the US to ground-breaking hair and spa services from around the world, including clean free-moving cuts, hair replacement, extensions, thermal reconditioning, and color varnishing.
