Gwyneth’s Summer Read
Cult Beauty just received this week’s installment of Gwyneth Paltrow’s newsletter, GOOP – usually a source of great amusement with her, ‘Let them eat cake’ attitude to the current economic climate and how it affects us mortals!
Anyway, this week’s GOOP is full of ideas for summer reads, one caught my eye by Robyn O’Brien, called The Unhealthy Truth: How Our Food Is Making Us Sick – And What We Can Do About It. It is a no holds barred examination of the food industry in the US and how the corporations are working, rather too closely, with the FDA, the government body responsible for regulating them. Apparently Robyn, the author, is being touted as the next Erin Brockovich….
