Apply to clean skin, or over a good primer. For the most natural-looking coverage begin with 1/2 to 1 pump of this base and then add more where needed. Choose the shade that is closest to your natural skintone by matching the swatch to the middle of your cheek. To cut ruddiness in the skin, one shade deeper may be used where needed. Apply with fingertips, sponge (Beauty Blender works well with this product), or brush and set with a transluscent powder for long-lasting wear.

the holy grail!

I've been looking for the perfect foundation for a reeeeally long time - one that's pale enough for my 'english rose' complexion (ie. pasty-grey with pink patches) and one that doesn't sit like a horrid heavy layer on top of my skin. And i think i might have found it. Alison Raffaele's Foundation is light, beautifully pale and even my husband noticed the difference - un-be-lievable!
