1 -2 times weekly, pour a little gel cleanser into the palm of your hand and then tap in some of this powdered exfoliator, the more you tap in the stronger the exfoliating action. If you have sensitive skin use less to start with until you get used to it. Then add a little water and move the scrub around your face in circular movements, concentrating in congested areas like around your nose. Don't do it too hard though, little and often is definitely the way to get best results.
